Mom, look! I picked a raspberry for you…

And his tiny hands reach out to give it to me.

In moments like this, I wish I could freeze time. Keep him exactly this little, just for a little longer.

But I can’t. And that’s okay.

I still can’t believe how quickly he’s growing. Time seems to slip through my fingers, and all I can really do is hold on to these little moments — for myself and for him — through photographs.

And maybe that’s why photography means so much to me.

I preserve these moments for myself.
And I do the same for you. 🤍
