I recently had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family during one of my blossom sessions, and their sweet baby twins absolutely stole the show. These little ones were all smiles, soaking up every bit of love, attention, and camera time. They were happy, curious, and such a joy to photograph from beginning to end.

To make the session even more special, they brought along their beloved four-legged baby, Benny. Watching everyone together beneath the beautiful blossoms was a reminder that family comes in all shapes, sizes, and furry varieties. 🐾

The soft white blooms created the perfect backdrop for capturing genuine moments of connection, laughter, and love. From sweet snuggles with Mom and Dad to adorable sibling moments between the twins, every image tells a story that this family will be able to cherish for years to come.

The kids laughed, played, and explored while we captured genuine smiles, sweet cuddles, and all those little moments that make family memories so special. Where has the time gone?

It feels like just yesterday this sweet little guy was here for his ”Kindergarten Bound” session, full of excitement and anticipation as he prepared to start a brand-new adventure.

Now, here we are celebrating another huge milestone—he has successfully completed both Junior and Senior Kindergarten and is heading off to Grade 1 this fall!

One of the greatest joys of being a photographer is getting to watch children grow through the years. Seeing familiar faces return and witnessing these important chapters unfold is something I never take for granted.

This session was an absolute blast from start to finish. His playful personality, infectious smile, and endless curiosity made every moment so much fun to capture. He kept me laughing the entire time and reminded me exactly why I love photographing children. Their energy, imagination, and genuine excitement are simply unmatched. He even transformed into a tiger at one point and really got into the photoshoot! It reminded me of the Austin Powers photography scene (if you know, you know: “you’re a tiger”). Scroll to the last photo to see him pretending to be a tiger! 🐅

As he prepares for his next big adventure in Grade 1, I know his family has so much to be proud of. These early school years fly by in the blink of an eye, making it all the more important to preserve these memories before the next chapter begins.

I am obsessed with the beauty of Sunnidale Park right now, and was so happy to see these two on the weekend for photos!

This beautiful Mommy & Me session was filled with so much love, laughter, and connection. Watching these two interact beneath the blooming trees was a wonderful reminder of how quickly these moments pass and how important it is to preserve them. I say this as I prepare my own little girl for high school; it feels like only yesterday she was this small. Time is fleeting. I am so lucky to get to freeze moments like this for people.

What made this session even more special for me personally was reconnecting with this amazing mama, someone I have been close friends with since I was just 5 years old. Life has a funny way of bringing people back together, and it was such a privilege to capture these memories for her and her precious little one. I had the honour of doing their Christmas photos in 2025. Seeing her as a loving mother and documenting this chapter of her story was incredibly meaningful.

As photographers, we often talk about freezing moments in time, but sessions like this remind me why I love what I do. The hugs, the smiles, the little glances between a mother and her child—those are the memories that become priceless years from now.

The spring blossoms won’t be here for long, and I will be offering a limited number of Blossom Mini Sessions over the next two weeks. Some sessions hold a special place in my heart, and this was definitely one of them.

A few years ago, I had the privilege of photographing this beautiful young lady’s older brother as he celebrated his Grade 8 graduation and prepared for his next chapter. Fast forward to today, and it was finally her turn.

There is something incredibly meaningful about being invited back to capture another milestone for the same family. Watching families grow and having the opportunity to document these important moments is one of the greatest honours of being a photographer.

As she closes one chapter and prepares to begin high school in the fall, I am so excited for all the opportunities, friendships, and adventures that lie ahead. Grade 8 graduation is such a significant milestone—a celebration of hard work, growth, and the exciting journey yet to come.

To this wonderful family, thank you for trusting me once again to preserve these memories. Your continued support means more than words can express, and I am truly grateful to have been part of another special moment in your family’s story.

I've been working my way through all of the incredible local businesses and artisans I had the pleasure of photographing at the Midhurst Market & Social last month, and today I'm excited to shine a spotlight on Happy Little Local Box!

What I love most about this business is its commitment to supporting Canadian makers and creatives. Each box is thoughtfully curated with high-quality, handmade essentials created by talented local artisans from across Canada. It's a wonderful way to discover unique products while supporting small businesses and the passionate people behind them.

As a photographer, I always enjoy meeting the faces behind local brands and capturing the craftsmanship, creativity, and care that goes into what they do. Happy Little Local Box is a beautiful example of community, collaboration, and supporting local talent.

A big thank you to the Midhurst Market & Social for bringing together so many amazing vendors and giving small businesses a space to connect, grow, and showcase their work. It was such a fantastic event, and I'm grateful to have been able to attend this year!

I've been a very busy bee lately working on a number of exciting projects, which means I've fallen a little behind on sharing all the amazing things I've been up to! Over the next little while, I'll be catching up on my socials and highlighting some of the incredible people, events, and creative work I've had the privilege of capturing.

Back in May, I spent three fantastic days at the Fourth Annual Inked Circus Tattoo Expos, surrounded by talented artists, passionate clients, and an incredible atmosphere of creativity and self-expression.

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Jayme (Daughter Of Mars Tattoos from Fabled Tattoo in Barrie). Throughout the weekend, I was able to capture the creation of some truly beautiful pieces that showcased not only stunning artistry but also the dedication, precision, and passion that goes into every tattoo she does.

There's something special about documenting the tattoo process—from the first lines to the finished masterpiece— check out some of my favourite photos I took below!
