New personal work: The Book Salesman
This image came to life when I was asked to lead a workshop for fellow photographers eager to learn more about my approach and process.

A talented friend, Bart Lenaerts, recently released a photo book and this sparked the idea to create this image as a way to promote his work.

The ten workshop participants also had the freedom to create their own images.
What a great experiment: 11 photographers, 11 ideas, 11 unique photographs.

All the images will be on display on June 18th during the book release party. Feel free to send me a message if you want to stay informed about my next workshop.

BRACE YOURSELF FOR WATERWORLD
I had so much fun creating this series—nothing to do with the Kevin Costner movie. I was hired to create the key visuals for the grand opening of Aquaventure: Lost World, an immersive experience at the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai. As impressive as the hotel itself, the underwater world sits beneath the building, with rooms facing the aquarium windows. A huge thank you to the staff and the client for making me feel so welcome. It was a truly inspiring shoot, though challenging at times. I chose to combine warm and cool light to accentuate the mystery already present in every room of the Lost World experience. It was a privilege to work on this campaign. This was one of my favorite shoots, where the client gave me the trust and freedom to realize my vision. Take a deep breath.

I’ve loved photography since I was 20. I’m not sure whether photographers are born or made, but I didn’t expect to become one. It grew into a passion that has shaped my life. I consider it a privilege to do what I love, and I’m grateful for the opportunities it brings. I work every day to try to improve my work, to reinvent myself, and to meet new challenges.

Winning Belgian Photographer of the Year 2026 made me even more eager to share my work. That’s why I’m exhibiting soon. It’s not a retrospective, I’m too young for that, but an overview of my career so far. I hope my personal work inspires others, and I’m excited to share it.

I hope to see you there.
