Now that winter is finally over, it is time for the water sports season to get underway. Waterskiing in SE Queensland starts this weekend with a two-day slalom event at Helidon Lakes.

I’m really looking forward to getting back out in the nice, warm sunshine. With a forecast of 34 degrees, maybe even a bit of slip, slop, slap might be the go. 😎

Change of plans for this weekend. I was supposed to be up at the World's Toughest 12hr offroad race, but due to the lack of entries (very disappointing), it just wasn’t going to be worth the time and effort to go all the way up to Manar Park and cover this event.

So instead, I’ve decided to pop down to Somerset Dam to shoot a bit of jetski racing at the QPWC - Queensland Championships. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to attend both days, but I’ll definitely give the camera a damn good workout on Saturday. 😎

Time to get my butt into gear for another huge weekend of historic motorcycle racing at Morgan Park Raceway.

After going through the schedule for this year's Big Chill, I was quietly surprised (and a little bit excited), to find out that there will be over 180 entries competing, spread across 8 different categories.

I must say that the inclusion of the big bangers this year will be a treat for all avid bike fans.

I will try and stay focused over the weekend, give it my best shot and see what develops. 😎

Another good day of racing at Atkinsons Dam. Whilst competitor numbers were down a bit, the club had a nice variety of races including time trials, handicap races and finished the day off with an enduro.
