We've signed up to ride 200km this month to raise money for the starlight foundation. I Just did my first 10km. Every little bit helps and is very appreciated! ❤️

Seven years ago, our lives changed forever when our youngest daughter, Eliza, was born with a serious heart condition. Since then, she has undergone three open-heart surgeries and spent countless days and nights in hospital. Those moments have been some of the hardest we’ve ever faced as a family.

In the middle of all the procedures, uncertainty, and long hospital stays, the Starlight Foundation has been there to bring light and joy into Eliza’s world. Whether it was a visit from the Starlight captains, a fun distraction in the Starlight Room, or simply a moment where she could laugh and just be a kid, Starlight has given her happiness during times that were anything but easy.

But it hasn’t just been Eliza they’ve supported. Her sisters Charlotte, Gracie, and Vivienne have also been on this journey. Starlight has helped them feel included and cared for, easing the worry that comes with watching their little sister go through so much.

That’s why Travis and I are fundraising for the Starlight Foundation. They’ve given our family so much over the past seven years, and now we want to give back. Every dollar raised helps Starlight continue their incredible work, bringing smiles, strength, and hope to kids like Eliza and their families.

Together, we can help brighten the darkest hospital days and create moments of joy that children never forget.

**Attention Followers** Dark Sky / Abandoned Location Wanted.

We are planning to do more night sky photography over the next few months and we're seeking some locations to use.
Do you have an abandoned building on your farm or property? Drive past one every day? Message us and let us know, we'll keep the location secret if you wish also!

Criteria:
Within 1 hour drive from Toowoomba.
Abandoned buildings, structures
Abandoned vehicles or equipment
Interesting looking bridges or architecture
Ideally the background will be to the South (best for the circled stars)
Really cool looking trees
Ideally away from Cities or Towns to avoid light pollution.
Water, river, creek, dam, waterfall

Today is Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Day or as we call it Sweethearts Day.
This day is dedicated to raising awareness for the estimated 250,000 children, teens, and adults affected by childhood-onset heart disease (CoHD).
