Week 22|52 ~ Subject - part of the Monthly theme of Favourites for June.
My Favourite Subject to capture would have to be my family and children but not only them and their personalities but also the story that photos tell. This being an example, no face or expression but it tells so much of a story!
After welcome recent rain, the cattle yards became a sea of mud. To some, it’s just a pair of gumboots sinking into the earth. To others, it’s childhood, freedom, curiosity, and the simple joy of life on the land.
Storytelling through photography isn’t always about smiling faces, grand landscapes or dramatic moments. Sometimes it’s found in muddy boots, small footprints, and the memories they create.
I will keep capturing these stories and many others while my boys let me!
