On Friday night, this piece was exhibited in Overthrow the Algorithm Tortuga St Peters
I wanted to explore the things an algorithm can't generate—the accumulated evidence of a human life.
The photograph captures a fraction of a second. The lace carries history. The embroidery records time. The buttons were once stitched onto someone else's clothing. Every brushstroke is a small physical decision.
In an age where images can be generated instantly, I found myself asking a different question:
What still belongs uniquely to the human hand?
