A romantic puppy shoot. Shivani's very thoughtful husband Varun booked her a family photography shoot for everyone as a birthday gift - how sweet!

After not getting around to Bubbles baby shoot, they made sure when Skye came along to do it this time and the results are adorable!

Trigger warning: House fire.

My friends family home burnt down and their dog didn't make it out. Unbelievably, people going to have a sticky nose caused a traffic jam and SLOWED DOWN THE FIRE TRUCKS that couldn't get past in time to put out the fire and reach the dog. All family photos and memories are gone.

If you'd like to help, you can donate to the go fund me anything you have spare (even $5 will buy underwear for them at Kmart), or reply/send me a DM with 'Memories' and I'll donate your shoot fee to them to help them start again. 💗

I never got to photograph this dog. 🐾

Once they finally decided to book, they kept pushing the date back. After the holidays. Once we found the right outfit. When we have a day off.

Then the email came. He'd gone off his food for a couple of days. A vet visit later, he didn't come home.

Now instead of a printed portrait on the wall, they're scrolling through their camera roll, trying to find one photo clear enough to frame, there aren't any with all three of them together.

If you've got an old pet or a sick pet, or even a perfectly healthy one, please don't wait for the "right time" to book their session.

There is no right time. There's just now. 🤍
