a long time.

If the camera changed, the edit changed or the subject changed, I assumed there wasn’t really a thread connecting any of it.

Turns out the edit changed a lot more than the things I kept noticing.

I chose the Titanium TTArtisan AF 50mm F1.8 Neo for entirely sensible photographic reasons.

It matches my Titanium Gold S9.

That was genuinely part of the decision.

Thankfully, it also means I now have a very good excuse to take this combination out and actually make some photos with it.

Titanium on Titanium.

Completely rational.

I genuinely never thought I’d end up shooting LUMIX.

Now when I look back, the cameras are probably the least interesting part of the story. It’s the shoots, the places, and especially the people that came with them.

Happy 25th, LUMIX.

I think creators get very good at waiting for something worth filming.

The trip. The light. The big moment.

I’m trying to keep a little more of the in-between too.

Not because it makes better content.

Because that’s the bit I’m actually living.

Slightly awkward considering how many cameras I own, but my iPhone is probably still the one I use most.

So I’m trying to take my mobile content setup a bit more seriously.

The Telesin Master Grip Classic + telephoto lens gives me a more intentional setup without losing the reason I use my phone in the first place.

It’s already with me.

Now it’s just more fun to shoot with.

My other cameras are coping.

I think i’m in love with this pairing between the S9 and the 40mm for video.

relaxed without looking accidental.

Soft light. Nothing too posed. Just enough direction to keep it feeling considered.

Basically, a home-chill kind of mood… but still refined.

That was the balance I was chasing.

But if you want your content to become work, it also helps when people understand what you do, what they can trust you for, and how to actually work with you.

Summer in Sydney is very easy to photograph as a postcard.

Harbour. Skyline. Opera House. Done.

But there’s a lot happening around all of that too.

Someone sitting by the water. A kid chasing a pigeon. People waiting, riding, passing through.

The landmarks tell you where you are.

The smaller stuff is what makes the city feel alive.
