Tasman Lake, Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park.

This was the most meaningful location of this trip for me.

The walk down to the lake wasn’t easy. Walking up was even harder. With an sore knee, every step over the rugged terrain was a challenge. But that made standing here even more rewarding.

The harder the journey, the greater the appreciation I guess.

This is where our Ultimate NZ Workshop began—a hidden hole-in-the-wall waterfall near Haast.

This was where we practised shooting handheld in very low light. Most of my shots ended up blurry, but that’s all part of the learning process. Here’s one that made the cut.

Had an absolute blast with on his Ultimate NZ Workshop last week!

The experience was made even more special by sharing it with such a dynamic group of genuinely wonderful people. I learned so much from Will and from everyone in the group, and I’m grateful for all the laughs, encouragement, and memories along the way. And as you see, we all became photography warriors afterwards.
