I truly have no words for this anniversary session. 🤍

This beautiful couple were celebrating 20 years of marriage and, at the last minute, asked if I could capture a little piece of their celebration as they escaped together to a gorgeous cottage for some much-needed time, just the two of them.

In the midst of parenthood, busy schedules and the beautiful chaos of everyday life, they chose to slow down and simply be together.

They exchanged heartfelt letters, and then he surprised her with a beautiful new ring and one simple question…

“Will you do another 20 years with me?” 🤍

It was such a privilege to witness such a genuine, quiet expression of love and to preserve these memories for them.

Without a doubt, one of my favourite sessions I’ve ever had the honour of capturing.

When planning this maternity session, I asked this beautiful mama-to-be if she was open to leaning into something a little creative… and she trusted me completely.
So the idea of a bed on the beach was born.

Soft flowing linens, cozy home-like textures, salty air, ocean breeze, golden light.
A space that felt intimate and safe, while surrounded by the wild beauty of the sea.

Because really… home isn’t always a place.
Sometimes home is a person.
A feeling.
A heartbeat growing inside you.

I wanted these images to feel gentle and cinematic, like a quiet moment suspended in time before life changes forever. The softness of motherhood mixed with the rawness of nature. Cozy, connected, emotional.

And honestly… we are all obsessed with how it came to life ✨
