When planning this maternity session, I asked this beautiful mama-to-be if she was open to leaning into something a little creative… and she trusted me completely.
So the idea of a bed on the beach was born.

Soft flowing linens, cozy home-like textures, salty air, ocean breeze, golden light.
A space that felt intimate and safe, while surrounded by the wild beauty of the sea.

Because really… home isn’t always a place.
Sometimes home is a person.
A feeling.
A heartbeat growing inside you.

I wanted these images to feel gentle and cinematic, like a quiet moment suspended in time before life changes forever. The softness of motherhood mixed with the rawness of nature. Cozy, connected, emotional.

They say pregnancy is natural.
A beautiful unfolding of love and new life.

And while that is true… it doesn’t always mean it’s easy.

Behind the glow, the growing belly and the quiet anticipation, there can also be long days, heavy moments and hills that feel impossibly steep. Strength that is called upon in ways no one really prepares you for.

This mama carried all of it with so much grace.
Gratitude, courage, vulnerability and a quiet resilience that deserves to be honoured.

Pregnancy is not just about the beauty you see.
It’s about the strength it takes to get there and this Mumma definitely had some days to dig deep.

This woman… she is strength.

Watching her stand in the golden light, holding the life she has grown, I was reminded that motherhood begins long before you hold them in your arms. 🤍

This season is so fleeting, the waiting, the wondering, the quiet moments where love is already stretching to make room for someone new.

There’s something so beautiful about watching a child become a sibling before they even understand what that means… little hands resting on a belly that already feels like home.

Motherhood is never still.
It’s always becoming.

GOODBYE 2025- HELLO 2026!!

I loved laying these moments out together as we close one year and step into the next. Seeing each shoot side by side really highlights what I adore most about this work, every story carries its own energy, its own pace, its own heart.

From quiet, intimate moments to loud, joyful chaos, each session reflects the people in it. Different seasons, different personalities, different connections, all beautifully their own.

There are so many more moments I could have included here. So many stories, all just as meaningful.

This kind of work never gets old for me. It’s honest, imperfect, and full of feeling, and I feel incredibly lucky to be trusted with moments like these.

So grateful for the couples and Families who trusted me with their stories, the quiet moments, the chaos, the love, and everything in between. This review means more than words can say and is a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do.

Thank you to every family, couple and client who welcomed me into their lives this year. What a year it’s been.

This image to me is beautiful. No it’s not perfect. It’s not posed. It’s not even a necessity. But to me it shows the quiet in-between.

The moment before the moment.
The deep breath.
The veil catching the breeze as the day gently unfolds around her.

It shows how a wedding isn’t just the aisle or the kiss or the portraits you plan for. It’s movement. It’s nerves and excitement living side by side. It’s people chatting in the background, cars still parked, life still happening while something sacred is about to begin.

This is why I photograph the way I do.
For the real.
For the fleeting.
For the moments you didn’t know you’d want to remember until years later, when perfection matters far less than feeling.

Because beauty isn’t always found in what’s staged.
Sometimes it’s found in what simply is.
