A tall giraffe on the left and a two-day-old calf on the right make the scale immediately clear, the calf’s gangly legs and flopping ears looking especially small beside the adult. I like that the scene feels calm and watchful, the larger presence quietly protective while the youngster takes tentative steps. The muted tones and vertical lines keep the composition simple and grounded. See it here: https://www.ozphotoimages.com/warehouse-open-edition-prints/art_print_products/perspectives-original

Here's a new piece I'm sharing called Surveyor. A leopard rests in the hollow of a gnarled tree, its steady gaze and the tree's weathered grain create a quiet, composed presence. The contrast of smooth form and rough texture feels grounded without forcing drama. It's printed on high quality metal with an aluminium backing for easy hanging and to prevent warping. I'm sharing a piece that brings the chase close: a cheetah in full cry, only metres away. The low, stretched form and the clean horizontal line across the grass give a clear sense of forward motion. Warm tones of the coat sit against cooler blues and greens in the distance, keeping the scene focused and uncluttered. This edition is produced on high quality metal with an aluminium back for easy hanging and to prevent warping. I wanted to share "Hide & Seek", a scene of two waterfowl paused at the lip of a glassy pool. One is partly hidden behind a tuft of reeds, head lifted and alert, while the other leans forward with its beak touching the surface and red legs forming a bright vertical counterpoint to the shoreline. Their silhouettes echo in the water and the reeds create gentle, rippling reflections. Warm russet and soft beige feathers sit against cool greens and a misty blue-gray hillside, and the even light keeps attention on small foreground moments, a tiny drinking ripple and a fleck of mud at the shore. The low vantage and careful framing almost create a mirror, but those little disturbances keep the scene quietly alive. I present A View of Times Past. A weathered gargoyle sits above Notre Dame, watching Paris spread beneath a pewter sky. The contrast and architectural detail give you new things to notice each time you look, and the composition makes a strong focal point above a mantel or in an entry. It is printed on high quality metal with an aluminium backing for easy hanging and to prevent warping.
