A close-up of the male Pale-headed Rosella that visited the nesting box in the yard. It was great to get such a good look at him and appreciate all the beautiful colours and fine feather detail. Hopefully he and his partner decide to stick around. 💛🦜

A Crimson Rosella enjoying the seeds from this tree. They certainly seemed to know exactly where the good food was! 🌿❤️

If anyone knows the name of this tree, I’d really appreciate the knowledge. Always keen to learn more about the plants that attract our local birds.

Great visitors to the nesting box on the weekend. A pair of Pale-headed Rosellas. They’ve been hanging around for the last couple of days, so hopefully they decide to stick around a little longer. Always a pleasure having these beautiful parrots stop by. 💛🦜

Azure Kingfishers have to be one of the most vibrant coloured kingfishers around. If you look closely, you can even see the subtle purple and pink tones through the belly area. Such an incredible little burst of colour along the waterways. 💙🐦
