It's that beautiful window before sunset, when the light becomes softer, warmer and incredibly flattering, the perfect time to create some of the loveliest photographs of the day.

It’s one of our favourite times at an outdoor wedding.

As the natural light starts to fade, our fairy lights - which have been quietly sitting in the background all afternoon, suddenly begin to make their presence felt - adding a hint of sparkle before coming into their own after dark ✨

Let’s be honest… the food at your wedding is pretty important. And when your guests are still talking about it weeks later, you know you’ve got it right!

That’s why Crafted Events WA cater exclusively for weddings at the Mallard Duck. They are exceptional at what they do — from using quality ingredients to making sure there’s plenty of it! Because the last thing you want is your guests heading to Maccas on the way home because they’re still hungry 😂🍟

Whether you’re after cocktail-style, banquet/share-style or a more formal plated menu, we can create something to suit you. We’re super flexible, and you can even build your own menu with the dishes you love.

And because we’re all-inclusive, all the little things are taken care of too — crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen tablecloths, napkins and more. No need to organise it all separately.

A Wedding Open Day, with a little less of the expo and a lot more of the experience. 🤍

We’re doing things a little differently at our upcoming Open Day at The Mallard Duck.

Rather than filling the venue with rows of suppliers and displays, we’re keeping things simple and creating the feeling of a real wedding day.

The venue will be fully styled for both ceremony and reception, with our dedicated WAEU wedding team there to show you exactly what’s included in our ALL-INCLUSIVE WEDDING PACKAGES.
We’ll also have a small selection of our trusted preferred suppliers joining us — chosen to complement the day and showcase some of the beautiful options available for your wedding.
So, come along, have a drink, enjoy some roaming canapés and live music, explore the venue, meet the team and our preferred suppliers, and simply relax.

Take your time, enjoy the beautiful setting and watch the sun set over the lake.

There’ll also be some amazing door prizes, generously donated by our team and suppliers, plus an exclusive booking incentive:
The first 5 couples to book their wedding within two weeks of the Open Day will receive $1,000 OFF their wedding package.
