👶What is the best age to photograph a newborn?

Age plays an important role in the look and feel of your newborn images. Babies change at a phenomenal rate in the early days. To achieve the curled-up positions you see on my website, it’s best to hold your session during the first 11 days after birth. Most babies at this age are still sleepy, making it easier to curl them into those positions we all love. However, we still capture the precious newborn photos up to the 3 marks. Just keep in mind that by this age babies are less curly and tend to be awake more. So, for safety reasons some poses are not done.

👶Where are newborn sessions held?

All sessions are held in my fully equipped studio space, located at my home in Butler, Perth WA. My studio is warm, safe and comfortable for you and your precious new arrival.

👶How long does a newborn session take?

Most sessions last approx two and a half hours. We’ll allow time for feeds, cuddles, and nappy changes. Closer to the date of your session, we’ll discuss what you need to bring. If you’d like to know more about my newborn sessions I’d love to help, you can send me an email at [email protected]

Childhood is about creating treasured memories of imagination and creativity. Something us as adults tend to forget at times. Growing up is journey of memories, why not let that imagination that we once had put a little bit of sparkle and fun back into life.

The flutter of their long, wispy eyelashes as they dream peacefully, and the soft blush of their cheeks.

Their button nose, so small and perfect, and the way their tiny hands, with fingers, grasp onto yours with surprising strength.

It’s moments like these that remind us how magical and fleeting these early days truly are.
