If you’ve booked a maternity session with me, you’ll know there are 3 photos I always make sure are in your gallery…
amongst the other 147 images I couldn’t narrow down because apparently “too many favourites” is my brand 👋😂

🤍 The 'Hey Dad, grab mums hand and go that way'

🤍 The 'Shut your eyes, it'll feel awkward'

🤍 The 'Dad get in there, but don't look at me'

And yes… these are actual sentences that come out of my mouth at almost every maternity session 😂

I promise I know it sounds strange.

You’re probably standing there thinking, “Is this photographer making us do the weirdest thing ever?”

But then I show you the back of my camera and suddenly it all makes sense 🤍

"What do you make as a photographer?"

It’s a question I’ve been thinking about a lot lately.

Because yes, I make photographs.

But the photos are only the beginning.

I make mums feel seen when they’re used to being the one behind the camera.

I make them feel beautiful when they’ve forgotten what that feels like.

I make dads relax and realise photos don’t have to be awkward.

I make kids laugh, play and be exactly who they are.

I make space for the messy moments, the cuddles, the giggles and the little things you never want to forget.

Because years from now, it won’t just be the photo you remember.

It will be how you felt in that moment.

And that’s what I truly love creating 🤍

I'm not here to take pretty pictures. I'm here to help you remember exactly how this season felt ✨️

We spend so much of motherhood waiting for the next stage.

The first smile.

The first steps.

The first day of school.

But somewhere in between all of those milestones is the ordinary.

The cuddles that last a little longer.

The tiny hand that still reaches for yours.

The way they fit perfectly on your hip, even though they're getting heavier every day.

Those are the moments that quietly become the ones you miss the most.

That's why I do what I do.

Not to create a gallery of beautiful images that sit on your phone.

But to give you something that takes you straight back to this season of your life. To the love, the chaos, the laughter, the cuddles, and everything in between.

Because, one day, these photos won't just remind you what your family looked like.

They'll remind you how it all felt. 🤍
