They’re born with almost 100 more bones than you. They can’t cry actual tears yet. Their eyesight only reaches as far as your face while feeding. Their kneecaps are still cartilage. And somehow — before they’ve even opened their eyes — they already know your voice and your scent.
There’s so much happening in those tiny bodies in the first few weeks, and they change fast. That’s the whole reason newborn sessions exist — to hold onto the exact size and softness of this stage before it’s gone.
