A little life update from me.
With life as it is — and has been for my family and me for a while now — photography has gradually had to take a back seat.
I’ve started working towards my Master of Teaching, I’m continuing to work in Disability Support, and I’m still navigating chronic health issues alongside raising two beautiful kids with some additional needs of their own. Somewhere amongst all of that (and just the general cost and chaos of life right now!), I’ve realised I simply don’t have the extra time, energy or funds to keep running my photography business in the way that I once did.
So, after 13 years, it’s time for Tagen Emma Visuals as we know it to come to an end. 🧡
I won’t be renewing my website or domain, and I’m officially giving myself permission to put my energy into this new direction and the things that need me most right now.
But this isn’t necessarily goodbye to photography.
I still love taking photos. I still love capturing your families, your celebrations and all those little moments that matter. So if you have an event coming up, or you’d simply love some updated family photos, please still feel free to get in touch. Instagram or email will be the best way to reach me — I’d genuinely love to hear from you.
And most importantly, thank you.
Thank you to every person who has trusted me with their babies, families, weddings, milestones and memories over the past 13 years. Thank you to everyone who booked, recommended me, shared my work, came back year after year, or simply cheered me on.
It has meant more to me than you probably realise.
