The most beautiful intimate wedding with Makyla & Corey back in April.
M&C always knew they wanted a small wedding and were initially chatting with me about eloping somewhere coastal and remote in South Australia.
Over time their plans changed - as they naturally do with weddings - and they settled on an intimate beach wedding with 16 guests and their groodle (groomsman), Beau.
The day came around and the wind was blowing such a gale at the beach that the signage and flowers were barely holding in place. We made the call last minute to change the ceremony location to the back garden of the air bnb. I knew Makyla was dreaming of a beach wedding so it was a hard call, but everyone was so glad we did (especially grandma).
We got setup and it turned out to be a beautiful ceremony led by Tessa Hamilton. We took photos before the sun set, and they headed off to Maxwell winery for a sit down dinner. I joined them for a few flash shots at the bar before leaving them to enjoy their evening.
It was a perfect day. Not as planned, but still perfect.
