Family photos rain or shine

Some family sessions just feel extra special. 🤎

This one involved a horse, (beautiful Kelly), soccer balls and two incredibly supportive parents who are so invested in their kids and the things they love. It was beautiful to watch.

We had a very windy and rainy afternoon to battle through, but the hair had been cut, the outfits had been chosen and we were committed rain, hail or shine!

And honestly, I think those slightly wild, windswept moments are what make family photos feel real. The laughter, the chaos, the things your kids love and the people who cheer them on through it all.

What a privilege it was to capture this beautiful family just as they are. 🤎

C**t ✨

I was lucky enough to meet little C**t within his first two weeks of life, and I’m always reminded just what a privilege it is to be invited into these fleeting moments and capture them for my clients. 🤍

As I arrived, I quickly realised that I’d actually known Leah from a lifetime ago in primary school, so it was such a lovely surprise to see her again after a lot of years!

Little C**t is already so incredibly adored by his family, but it was especially sweet watching Armani & Samson dote over their new little brother throughout my visit. 🥹

We also incorporated a few of the things this family loves most, horses and cattle and I just love making these little pieces of family life part of a session. It makes the images feel that much more meaningful and them.

Because these aren’t just photos of a new baby… they’re photos of the life he’s being welcomed into.

And I have a feeling it won’t be long at all before C**t and Mike are out in the paddock, talking cows. 🤎

Kasey, Tyler and Ensley are certainly no strangers to me, and I’m so incredibly thankful for families who continue to come back and trust me to capture their special moments. And now, little Ava has officially joined the fam. 💕

When Kasey reached out to book Ensley’s first birthday cake smash session, she had a very special surprise for me too… a little maternity session tucked in there as well. 🥰

And that beautiful little bump is now here, in the form of the sweetest little girl they call Ava. 🤍

My focus is always on making sure my clients enjoy their session, going with the flow and letting the kids be kids, while still capturing all those beautiful moments I’m there for.

Ava was an absolute sleepy photographer’s dream, while Ensley kept me very much on my toes, as all toddlers should! 😂💕

These sessions are why I love what I do. Watching families grow and being trusted to capture each chapter is pretty special.
