When you come back to Kalgoorlie that morning and have a booked photoshoot that afternoon…

I love my job, so a moon boot and jet lag weren’t going to stop me lol! 😂

It was so much fun heading up to Mt Charlotte and exploring the areas around it to capture a very special 18th birthday.

So grateful I get to do what I love and create memories like these! 📸

A week in Queensland to celebrate a best friends wedding and a holiday!
What not to love:
*A fun hen party for a beautiful bride to be
*celebrate two beautiful people getting married
*first time in Queensland
*first time in a moon boot (not planned)
*swam in the great barrier reef! (Bucket list ✔️)
*spent the trip with close friends who i have known most of my life

Overall, it was a lovely getaway

The first episode of
10 Questions with 10 photographers
is finally here!!!

I had this project in mind two years ago and I have finally pushed myself to do it. This is something out of my comfort zone and to be honest, you will see that in this video.
Sometimes you have to take a chance and see what happens, even if it means getting out of your comfort zone. So please be kind, I am still learning how to do this, but I am excited to see how far it goes.
I hope you learn something from your local photographers in the Goldfields region through this series.
(I am hoping to do this in the southwest too and possibly outreach to further places across Australia or even over seas, so stay tuned)

Are there any other photographers who forget to do recording for their social media page?

I do!!

I get so much in the moment, I only remember when im in the car at the end of the photoshoot.

There are a few things im still learning with the social media side, lol

Side note:
I had a fun time photographing the Fare family, a beautiful family filled with laughter and adventure.
Part of the reason why i do this.

Are there any photographers out there who wish they had their camera with them all the time?

All seriousness, though,
It was a beautiful shot with my phone and not edited. Sometimes, the quick idea of taking the photo, using whatever you have on hand, is better than nothing.

I was in awe before I thought of taking these pictures. Being in the moment is always the best thing first, and a little reminder for myself, too, before I get my phone out .

What you see though wasnt just a planned thing. I just looked up in frustration becuase my daughter hadn't been listening, after just parking the car (we were running late to dinner with some friends) and the view of the town clock was what I saw, then the sky. Sometimes, it's these moments we deserve to just breathe in, even for a second, because you never know.
It might just help in those hard times.

Are there any other parents out there who needed to hear this? Any similar stories? I know im not alone.
