Capturing a MoonRise under the Milky Way is a rare opportunity. We have a small window before the Milky Way gets high in the sky, Too early and the Milky Way is not visible, too late and it’s just a MoonRise. Knowledge, patience, weather and timing are key. We are extremely lucky here in Hervey Bay that our odds of making this all align happens a few times a year.
