Pied cormorant (phalacrocrax varius) these birds lack the waterproof coating that other birds have so that they can dive deeper to catch fish, so often they are seen along the coastline with their wings spread out to dry.

Who am i?
Hi, I’m Hollie and this is my photography account. I started this account back in March 2018 as a way to share some photos which I had taken on my phone, little did I know that photography would turn into one of my biggest passions. Since 2018 I have transitioned more into wildlife/nature photography as I’ve always been passionate about animals and helping them. Through my photography I hope I can share how beautiful our animals and nature is and why it is so important to conserve them. Now studying animal ecology it gives me even more of a reason to share my work and passion with everyone. Another reason I love photography is being able to capture a moment which only lasted a second and being able to make it last forever, it also allows me to capture joy and happiness and share them. I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoy taking them 📸📷
