2026 NTIBN BLAK CREATIVE BUSINESS OF THE YEAR!
I never thought I’d see myself standing on that stage receiving an award.
Last year, I attended these awards as a guest of my brother HAKON. I remember sitting there watching everyone receive their awards, and my wife leaned over and said, “You’ll be up there next year.”
Well… here we are.
Everything I’ve built started with just having a go.
I didn’t have a business background. I didn’t really know what I was doing. I just knew I wanted to create something my family could be proud of and something that could create opportunities for others.
To my wife and our three beautiful kids, thank you for allowing me to chase this dream. I know building this hasn’t just taken sacrifices from me, it’s taken sacrifices from you too. I love you all.
If there’s one thing I’ve learnt along the way, it’s that you’re going to fail. You’re going to get told no. You’re going to have people who don’t believe in you, and moments where you question whether you’re good enough.
But failure doesn’t mean you’re going backwards. Sometimes it’s just life pointing you in a different direction.
So back yourself. Have a go. And if you fall down, get back up and go again.
And when you finally make it through that door, don’t close it behind you.
Hold it open for the next person.
