As with all but a few of my photos are taken to complement a thought as I pass by.
I do take interest in the mundane, the stuff most people would not even notice.
I'd been doing some searching for weeds of the Top End. This described nicely the persistence and invasive nature of weeds. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Humans seem to do the same if you notice.

Darwin city

I travel through Darwin for work, and when I'm staying in the city, I always like to do a walk around and get some street shots. I walked around a corner onto a street I don't think I've been on before and saw this green building that caught my eye, and then the red roof contrasted beautifully. On top of that, the lines created by the brickwork just stood out as something that I had to capture.

Pandanus on Litchfield, Batchelor, NT

I was over the moon from the start of shooting this shot to the final edit.

It was my first time when I finally learned how to use a tracker after owning the tracker for one year. I was stunned after seeing those images. Never had a chance to shoot that long exposure, but found it was absolutely worth it.

I was with my partner and friends at Pandanus on Litchfield, and was definitely thinking of shooting in a conventional style. So, I definitely wasn't prepared. Also, the moon was going to be almost 40% or more. Didn't expect it would be worth it. To my surprise, Milky Way rose so beautifully that I couldn't resist myself but started shooting. Had the company of my cosmos-loving friends, which was awesome.

Mother Nature's finest piece of art would be the sky!

I was bored at home one night and wanted to try a long exposure shot but didn?t have a tripod for it so I set my camera up on the edge of my balcony for a clear shot of the city and so I can stabilise the camera for a nice clear shot, I then took the photo into Lightroom to bring out the colours and bring life to and already lively shot

I was bored one night and wanted to try a long exposure shot but I didn?t have a tripod so I set my camera up on the ledge of my balcony for a good angle of the city and so I can stabilise the camera for a nice clear shot without a tripod and it turned out great so I took the photo to Lightroom and played with the colours and brightness to bring life to an already lively photo

I used a Canon EOS R50 with the 18-45mm kit lens
I used a 10-second exposure with f14 and an ISO 100

Nightcliff Jetty

This was taken on the 3rd February this year at the Nightcliff Jetty with an unusually high tide of around 8 metres and strong monsoon winds.
It was taken with an OM-1 Mark II camera on procapture to get a series of patterns of the waves as they crashed and broke on the rocks and the huge swells.
This one had a setting of:
ISO 80 17mm F20 1/3sec

During a rainy day, I was walking around the Deckchair Park, experimenting with a few shots. Suddenly, I noticed an empty ship deck; quiet, cinematic, and full of mood.

I quickly launched my DJI Mini 5 Pro and captured some stunning clips.
