Meet Fifi Fogg from Coastal Mermaids! She’s Australia’s very first and only mermaid photographer, bringing a splash of magic to every photograph.

Let me share a bit about myself. I was born and raised on the stunning Kangaroo Island, off the coast of South Australia. Growing up, I embraced the best of both worlds, freely exploring the land and the sea, which fueled my passion for nature and marine life. I spent countless hours searching for little crabs and shells, immersing myself in the wonders of the environment. I have always had a deep

appreciation for art and photography. After taking photography courses in high school, I rediscovered my love for it later in life after becoming a parent. Initially, I found portrait, family, and wedding photography to be quite repetitive and lacking a creative spark. Everything changed when my 5-year-old daughter saw an enchanting image of a mermaid online and expressed her desire to recreate that magical moment. Inspired, I crafted my first mermaid tail from an old pair of white leggings, and the response was overwhelming! People were captivated, eager to embrace the fantasy of being a mermaid themselves. That's how Coastal Mermaids was born in 2012. Since then, my creations have evolved into fully functional tails perfect for swimming and splashing in the water, making dreams come true for many.
