If you're heading out Marrakai way, just up from the Corroboree Tavern is Paul's gallery, and the coffee is top notch!

The Darwin Camera Club is delighted to welcome Mr Paul Thomsen of Wildfoto Paul Thomsen as the Club's very first Patron.

A Darwin-born Top End nature photographer, Paul has spent decades exploring and photographing the unique landscapes and wildlife of northern Australia. Through Wildfoto, he has shared his passion and local knowledge with photographers and visitors from around the world.

Paul's connection with the Darwin Camera Club dates back to the pre-digital era, when photography was built on film, darkrooms, patience, and technical skill. Those foundations continue to be evident in his photography and his willingness to share his experience with others.

Highly respected for his knowledge of the Top End and his contribution to the photographic community, Paul brings a wealth of experience and inspiration to the Club. His journey from the days of film photography to today's digital age makes him an ideal Patron for photographers of all levels.

We are proud to welcome Paul as the Darwin Camera Club's inaugural Patron and look forward to the support, knowledge, and encouragement he will bring to our members.
