A very belated share… but one that still makes me smile.

Back in 2025, one of my photos was featured in a Region Canberra article about the tiniest supporter of the Canberra Brave — and somehow life got busy and I never actually shared it here.

Little Jasper, pictured with his Daddy’s jersey and holding a tiny knitted hockey stick and puck (lovingly made by his grandmother), is part of a story filled with whirlwind love, resilience, family, and community. I felt genuinely honoured to capture a moment from this beautiful journey.

These are the moments that stay with me: real families, real stories, and milestones that are so much more than just a photo.

It’s always such a privilege to photograph these big moments — from the quiet excitement of pregnancy to the beautiful chaos of life with a newborn. I loved spending time with this gorgeous family for both their maternity and newborn sessions… watching their story unfold and seeing how much love already surrounds this little one.

After taking some time away from my camera to focus on my family and support my Autistic children through the challenges of school and life, I’m beyond excited to be back behind the lens!

After ten wonderful years of photographing families in Canberra, it felt like the perfect time for a little refresh—especially after our website booking and enquiry system decided to take an unexpected break from communicating with our inbox (because, apparently, even technology needs a timeout!). So, we’ve given our website and logo a fresh new look, featuring a special tribute to my son’s love of rainbows—a symbol of hope, diversity, and new beginnings.

Photography has always been my happy place. It’s not just about capturing images; it’s about creating a space where art, connection, and emotion come together. It’s about preserving the little things that make life extraordinary. From the quiet snuggles of a newborn to the intimate bond between parents and their little ones, every newborn deserves photos that are displayed proudly in the home—not just as a moment in time, but as a daily reminder throughout their childhood that they are loved and cherished.

I will be supporting Walk for Prems as a volunteer photographer again this year. It's a cause close to my heart after my own Son was born premature 6 years ago. It's a way to give back to other families going through a similar and in many cases much worse journey. If you're part of this club or would like to offer your support, registrations for the annual walk for prems event are now open: I hope to see you there!

It's almost that time of year again...

Registrations for Walk for Prems 2022 will open on July 1. And after what's been a challenging two years, we are excited to be taking in six physical locations across Australia, as well as virtually on 23 October.🥇👶👣
