A few hidden waterfalls we stumbled across while exploring the Glow Worm Tunnels at Lithgow.

The variable ND filter came in handy here, slowing the water down to capture that soft, flowing look. Sometimes the unexpected finds end up being just as memorable as the destination itself.

Exploring the Glow Worm Tunnels at Lithgow

Something a little different over the weekend. Capturing glow worms was definitely a new challenge — balancing the darkness of the tunnel while trying to bring out the incredible little lights hidden inside.

Such an amazing place to experience. I’ll definitely be back when it’s a bit warmer!

It was great to see the Bathurst Giants AFL Club get the win over the Orange Tigers this afternoon.

It felt even better to be back behind the lens, capturing the speed, intensity and emotion of the game. The Z5ii continues to impress, and paired with the 200–500mm and the ProMaster monopod, it made for a great afternoon on the sidelines.

A great morning with the Bathurst Giants AFL Club at George Park watching the U14s Derby.

The Milky Way rises over McPhillamy Park — a quiet contrast to the usual roar and rush at the top of Mount Panorama Circuit

These are my first Milky Way images since moving to Bathurst, and the first captured on the Z5ii. The move to full frame at 14mm has opened up a whole new world of detail and depth in the night sky.
