Rehearsal day! I usually photograph my girls in advance to use for these posts… but instead they joined into the chaos that is rehearsal day photos.
A HUGE thank you once again to the incredible backstage volunteers who not only get the girls ready for stage, but chase up those on my photo schedule; you are all amazing 😍

Show day tomorrow, and I can’t wait to see my girls, and all the Betty Bentley students put on what I’m sure will be another great concert.

Be in the photos Mumma; one day you’ll thank yourself.
The newborn stage is difficult but fleeting; One moment they’re so tiny, then in a blink you have a toddler, child, tween, teen… and that image of your baby in your arms will mean so much.
From a mother of 4 whose babies are far from tiny, trust me when I gently urge you into the photo. You’ll thank me; you’ll thank yourself ❤️

I remember when my children were still so tiny. With each passing year, I find myself missing those tiny humans; when solving their troubles took a simple touch, wash and feed.
When those teen years arrive, you know parenting is going to get rough, but I couldn't have imagined just how heartbreaking it would feel to see them struggle and know my embrace alone can't fill that space for them any longer.
This year has been rough, but the clouds are lifting and seeing them all develop into these incredible individuals fills me up almost as much as holding them when they were young.
Teens may bring the big issues, but they fill your life with a great sense of fun.

It's been almost 2 years since my last post. Following the loss of someone very special to myself and my family, I took a step back from the camera to focus on my own family, my closest friends, and rebuilding my own mental health.
During this time, I have continued to capture the memories of my regular clients and will share some of these beautiful images in the coming weeks.

I'm now taking bookings for May-Nov. Bookings through Winter are limited.

Celebrating 8 years of loving her; and 8 years of capturing their precious memories.

This year more than ever, I see so much growth and change. Her baby features have matured and not once did she make me race her in trade of a smile 😂 Although the pace of our session has calmed, I'm so delighted to see her sassy, cheeky smile has remained unchanged.
As always, I can't wait to see you (both) next year. X
