Hyperfocused photo of Lake Hawea (North East of Wanaka). The lake runs parallel with the more famous Lake Wanaka. This one is just as beautiful without the same tourist traffic.

Different view of the Church of the Good Shepard. What a beautiful little town this is. Our accommodation was top notch and the tour of the dark sky observatory on the mountain range overlooking the town was a real eye opener. Typically we did not get enough time in this wonderful part of the south island.

A study in purple.🙂 Phantom 4 over the salt lake. Not often you see this much water on the lake. Safety Bay and the Indian Ocean in the background. How lucky am I to live just 5 minutes from this view?
