Held in Red

Held in Red captures a moment suspended between certainty and uncertainty.

Rich reds and golds. Colours long associated with passion, power and desire. They draw the eye through sweeping contours, while leaving room for questions that don't need immediate answers.

Not every story resolves. Sometimes the emotion itself is enough.

Held in Red is on display throughout August and is available for purchase.

A few of the larger works from Body of Becoming (and Other Desires) have had some interest as prints—and I'm considering making a small number available.

I'm currently seeking expressions of interest for prints of selected works, including some of the larger pieces in the exhibition.

At this stage:
• Prints would be available in a range of sizes
• Pricing is still to be determined, as I'll be working with a print supplier to establish the best options
• Prints would be available from October 2026
• Limited editions only, with a maximum of 25 prints per work

I'll only produce editions of works that receive enough interest, so if there's a particular piece you'd love to see available as a print, let me know.

Works currently generating interest include A Third Heart Beats, Held in Red, An Internal Flame Arises and The Head is the Heart, but I'm open to expressions of interest for other works from the exhibition too.

Collecting your piece of The Grid

Bought a piece of The Grid during Body of Becoming (and other desires) ? Thank you for becoming part of the artwork.

Because The Grid has been designed as one connected installation, works will remain on the wall for the duration of the exhibition.

Once the exhibition closes, a collection time will be arranged to carefully dismantle the hanging frame and prepare each individual work for its new home.

Can't collect in person?
Postage can also be arranged (at the purchaser's expense) so your piece of The Grid can make its way to you.

More details about collection and postage will be provided directly to purchasers after the exhibition finishes.

How does The Grid work?

The answer is simple, and it's part of the artwork itself.

The Grid is made up of 100 individual works. The piece in the top-left corner is $20, and the price gradually increases as you move across and down the wall, finishing at $120 in the bottom-right.

There isn't a "better" spot on the wall. A higher price doesn't mean a better artwork. It simply reflects its place within the whole.

Inspired by the endless wall of profiles so familiar in q***r digital spaces, The Grid explores choice, value and the way we assign meaning.

Whether you're taking home your favourite piece for $20 or $120, you're collecting an original idea that brings the digital and the physical together.

The Grid is on display throughout August as part of Body of Becoming (and other desires) , with all works available for purchase.
