It's Factoid Friday! This weeks teacher is Shelby the Chihuahua!

Did you know?

1. We are known to be a shaky breed. We shake for many reasons, cold, anxiety, happiness and for treats of course!

2. As babies we have a soft spot on our heads like humans. It's called a "molera" and it usually grows over just like babies do. Handle our heads with care just to be safe!

3. Tiny dogs, tiny litters, BIG HEADS! When chihuahuas have babies, we usually only have about 1-3 at a time. Because our heads are big relative to our mums bodies, we often need a little bit of vet help via c-section.

Hi, I'm Milo!

I'm a chihuahua crossed with a maltese and that makes me the best of both breeds!
I love my "lollies" and being taken for adventures in my pusher.
Going to my dads work at the retirement home is the BEST. The old folks adore me!
I had my photos taken at Photographyroom and I think your dog should too!

Hi, I'm Georgey. I am half cavalier king Charles spaniel, one quarter bichon frisé and one quarter poodle. I have a very special skill. I can detect bad dreams and wake my pawrents from them.

I absolutely LOVE roast chicken!

I really don't like being alone, but that's okay because my pawrents love me a tone and stay close.

I had my photos taken at Photographyroom and I think your dog should too!

It's Factoid Friday! This weeks teacher is Coco the Chihuahua.

Did you know:
1. We have two types of coats! I am a long haired chihuahua, however smooth, short coat variations are about too. We come in tonnes of colours!

2. We get really cold! Chihuahuas have low body fat and tiny bodies, so we LOVEEEE blankets and jackets to keep us warm.

3. You might hear the term "Deer head" and "Apple head" chihuahuas. Deer head chihuahuas have flatter heads and longer snouts but are not the breed standard according to many Chihuahua associations. The classic chihuahua has an apple shaped head with a very definite "stop" between their nose and head.

Love our photos of Coco and have your own awesome Chihuahua? We currently have $30 Photo Sessions supporting Animal Welfare League

OH MY GOSH! Look at these cutie pies! A few weeks ago Kashi, Anthea, and 10 week old Johnny came to our studio in Unley to take the baby photos. Excuse us whilst our hearts melt a little bit (okay a lot!) because baby Johnny is as sweet as cotton candy and Kashi and Athena are the perfect new pawrents! Can we get a round of applause for Kashi and Athenas matching outfits? CUTE!

Hi I'm Biscuit
I love meeting new dogs, do you think I can visit yours? Except I won't visit if you have steps to your house. I hate steps...
.. and medicine! EW!
I really like back scratches, dinner time and walks though. So we can do that on our play date!

Hi, I'm Armani!
I'm a fairly healthy boy and love to snack on a carrot or two. I think having my nails clipped is THE WORST! I am a sun catcher and love finding sunshine wherever I go. I prefer to live a life of luxury with my blankets, pillows and human snuggles! I love dancing, and BOY CAN I DANCE!

I had my photos taken at Photographyroom and I think your dog should too!

It's Factoid Friday!
This weeks teacher is Basil the Chihuahua!

We are smol bois! Chihuahuas are the smallest dog breed in the world, but we truly have the biggest personalities!
The word Chihuahua is a place. Chihuahua is a state of northern Mexico. We originated from somewhere near there!
WE LIVE FOREVERRRRRR! Okay maybe not forever, but we live a long time. The average lifespan of a Chihuahua is 14-16 years.
Love our photos of Basil and have your own awesome Chihuahua?
