I love to create meaningful, honest and emotive portraits which capture the connections between people. I love to capture the uniqueness and individuality of each person that I have the opportunity to photograph. My photography is very much informed by the painter and artist within me. I completed my degree in Visual Arts earlier in my career. I am proud to say that I am a fully accredited member with the AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography).

Arum lilies captured using available light and as a single exposure in-camera using ICM. So many techniques can be replicated in PS etc, but there is a great sense of joy capturing an image in-camera using a technique you have practised over a period of a few years and knowing how to create with your camera. This is me, painting with light and making a movement similar to a brush stroke.. it is mine and distinctly human.

The salt lakes on Yorke Peninsula are an ever changing landscape. At the moment, the lakes are full of water after all the rain. How beautiful they look set amongst the lush green landscape and the yellow canola at the moment. I love the patterns as the water recedes as the weather warms. This image was captured in the warmer months earlier in the year. This is the beauty of nature and the landscape.. it constantly changes and surprises.

Yorke Peninsula landscape captured with my drone. The salt lakes are quite full at the moment and the slaty layers I love to capture will be revealed as the water recedes over time. More rain to come tomorrow! There are still gems to discover! This reminds me of a native flower drawn in the earth.. appearing for a moment and washed away tomorrow.
