In Top 50

While gradually building the foundations of the next chapter of my life in my new home, I often find myself looking back, bringing along the beautiful and meaningful pieces of the past to help bind each new brick I lay now.
As I plan the realization of ideas that are still waiting to come to life, I continue to cherish all my earlier projects, happily diving back into their stories from time to time.

Our sunrise photo session on Kő-hegy (Kőhegy) with Orsi was one of those unforgettable adventures – one that refuses to sink into the sea of forgotten memories. It keeps resurfacing, each time with a new twist of relevance. 💕

This time was no different. The memory came back to me just as the Swiss Photo Club announced its community event in Vienna: an open photo exhibition combined with a small competition.
Anyone could submit any photo, and the entries will be exhibited for a full week (6. June - 14. June) at CITYgalleryVIENNA. Visitors will also have the chance to vote for their favorite photos, and the event will end with a friendly awards night.
And you know my favorite argument: why not? 🙂

🎊 This week I received the news that my photo *Runrise* made it into the top 50, based on the jury's pre-selection. 🎊

That alone already goes beyond my original hope, which was simply to see my two favorite photos exhibited in a real gallery. (I'll tell you more about the second one later – any guesses? 😉)

I'm really looking forward to June 14th to see all the other works and to meet other passionate, creative people who share the same love for photography. From here on, I already feel like I've won just by being part of it.

Big thanks to Swiss Photo Club - Deutschland for the organization and this opportunity!

Listening to a picture...
I could tell so many more stories about this photoshoot, but today, no matter how many times I tried to put my thoughts into words, something else triumphed over: the softness of nothingness, the crunch of fresh snow, the rhythm of footsteps, the life that flows from every breath, and the silence of the grey.
In the end, I surrendered to this tranquility and simply gazed upon this memory.
And I listened.
And I smiled, because I heard.

To run more or less? 😃 Maybe more on asphalt, track, or trails? 🙂 More on the treadmill or more outdoors? To run more solo or more with a group...?

You know what? It doesn’t really matter, as long as you have a good time. 😉
Just make one more promise to yourself: don’t forget to love this sport! 😇

Ez az emlék ugyanúgy egy csoda idén is, mint amilyen eleven varázslat volt tavaly. 🌥🔥❄️ Váratlan boldogsággal fedeztem fel hétvégén, hogy van még ebből a sorozatból olyan kép, amit eddig nem tettem közzé. Örömmel osztom meg veletek a tél folyamán a kedvenceimet (...habár az összes az! 😃) és kívánom nektek, hogy tartalmas, színes, meghitt élményekkel gazdagodjatok a következő napokban!
Amilyen élményeket számunkra jelentenek a közös alkotások Edinával. 😇

This memory is just as much a miracle this year as it was a vivid magic last year. 🌥🔥❄️ Over the weekend, I was unexpectedly delighted to discover that there are still photos from this series that I haven’t shared yet. I’m thrilled to share my favorites with you throughout the winter (...though honestly, they’re all my favorites! 😃) and wish you all meaningful, colorful, and heartfelt experiences in the days to come!
