What’s something you will stop EVERYTHING for?
Beautiful light. If the sun suddenly does something magical during your shoot, whatever we were doing five seconds ago no longer matters.

What has farm life taught you about photography?
That you can’t control everything — and sometimes the unexpected thing becomes the beautiful thing.

What’s the most glamorous and least glamorous version of you?
Saturday: photographing champagne, wedding gowns and candlelit tables.
Sunday: gumboots, chicken p**p and collecting eggs.

What do you collect without meaning to?
Photographs. Animals. Hobbies. Beautiful little moments. And apparently chickens.

That’s why I love family sessions so much.

No perfect posing. No pressure for everyone to behave. Just bare feet in the sand, windswept hair, cuddles, laughter and the beautiful little connections that make your family yours.

This gorgeous family joined me on Wilderness Beach for an evening of simply being together — and these are the photographs they’ll get to keep long after this season has passed.

Some weddings prove that less really can be more.

This beautiful elopement wasn’t about a big guest list—it was about creating an unforgettable experience for the people who mattered most. Instead of stretching their budget across hundreds of guests, they poured their hearts into every little detail, creating a day filled with intention, connection, and so much joy.

From incredible food and thoughtful styling to board games, fun props, and meaningful little touches around every corner, every detail invited their guests to slow down, laugh, connect, and simply enjoy being together. It wasn’t just a wedding… it was an experience.

A huge shout-out to Butterfly Events, whose creativity, organisation, and incredible attention to detail brought this vision to life so beautifully. Every element flowed seamlessly, and it was clear how much love and care had gone into planning this special day.

And, of course, a special mention to one of our favourite wedding officiant in the Garden Route, Gavin, whose heartfelt, genuine ceremonies always make couples (and photographers!) feel so at ease. You have such a special gift for making every ceremony personal and unforgettable.

To every couple dreaming of an intimate wedding: this is your reminder that you don’t need a big wedding to create a magical one. Sometimes, the smallest celebrations leave the biggest impact.
