Ashley and Hardus’ love story began at a young age. They attended the same primary school, and Ashley’s brother and Hardus have been close friends for many years, so they were constantly together in each other's presence. As the years went by, their friendship gradually grew into something more, eventually developing into a relationship.
I have known Hardus since we were little children, and to this day, our parents are still incredibly good friends. For this reason, it was a great honour for me to capture Ashley and Hardus’ wedding day.

The overcast weather and winter chill created the perfect atmosphere and contributed so much to the calm and peaceful feeling of the day. I had so much fun working with them, being creative, and capturing beautiful photographs.

One of the most special moments of the day was when Ashley and Hardus privately read their vows to each other during their couple’s shoot. It was just the two of them—no one else around, except for me behind the camera (wink wink). It was an incredibly intimate and meaningful moment as they shared their love and commitment with one another through their words.

Ashley and Hardus, I wish you a beautiful, healthy, and blessed marriage. May you walk hand in hand with the Lord every day. May He guide, protect, and bless you, and may you fully enjoy this new chapter as husband and wife.

Hein & Caitlyn have known each other for what feels like a lifetime and have always been best friends (he’s also her brother's best friend ). These two have so much in common that it was bound to happen that they’ll end up together – from our love for the outdoors and adventure to great music and, of course, dirt bikes. It felt like their story was always meant to come full circle after all, they even dated years ago, but went their separate ways for a while, finding their way back to each other through friendship, countless memories, laughter, love, and a shared passion for adventure, they realised that they’ve always belonged together. And out of all the bikes she could have chosen, she picked a Yamaha… because he rides one too. It’s been a long love story, but one that has been worth every chapter.”
