What a privilege to be in Kei Mouth. We have the ocean with whales, dolphins and sea birds, we have dunes with giant milkwoods, we have trees with monkeys and amazing bird life, we have wild buck in the bushes, we have leguaan. We have a huge variety of indigenous plants. We're basically in a nature reserve!

Why would anyone want to spray our lovely Arum lilies with herbicides? Why not just cut or pull the invasive inkberries and let the lilies flourish. These pictures were taken in the Kei Mouth Caravan Park.

Unacceptable. Fishermen should take their rubbish home. My dog found these fishing hooks on the rocks at the little beach between Whispering Waves and Freshwater. I took a hook out of his mouth and found another one in their discarded rubbish on the rocks. I can only hope my dog did not swallow a hook. Also, there are often little children playing there. This is disgusting and dangerous.
