I will never get bored of photographing weddings… and here are 7 reasons why. 🤍

1. Marriage was created by God. And there’s something incredibly special about witnessing two people step into that promise together.
2. I get to witness one of the greatest promises two people can make. To choose each other, for life.
3. Sunsets. Need I say more? 😍
4. Love. The nervous kind, the emotional kind, the crazy-about-you kind — all of it.
5. One of the biggest days of your life becomes something I get to capture forever. The moments may pass, but the photographs won’t.
6. I get to remind you just how perfect you look. Because trust me… you DO. 🤍
7. I get to freeze the little moments you didn’t even know were happening. The glances, happy tears, hand squeezes, laughter and everything in between.

Matric dances have become such a special thing for me to capture. 🤍

There’s something about the excitement, the dresses, the nerves, the laughter… and knowing that this is one of the last big moments before an entirely new chapter begins.

The last dance before school ends.
Before everyone starts going their separate ways.
Before stepping out into the big, wide world.

And I get to freeze a little piece of that moment in time. 🥹

Years from now, the dress might be packed away and life might look completely different — but these photos will still take you right back to who you were, and how it felt, right before everything changed.

That’s what makes capturing matric dances so incredibly special to me. 📸🤍

There’s something so incredibly special about photographing a family in the place where their newest chapter begins.

No perfectly posed moments.
No pressure.
Just sleepy cuddles, tiny toes, proud big sisters, gentle forehead kisses and the kind of love that fills every corner of a home.

Thank you to my beautiful sister and brother-in-law for trusting me to capture these first precious days as a family of four. These are the moments that will only become more valuable with time.

This time last year, I had the privilege of photographing Meghan and Watermark. Fast forward a year, and the family has grown by not one, not two… but three adorable rescue babies. 🐴🤍 Needless to say, they kept us all on our toes, and every second was worth it.

One of the greatest gifts of being a photographer isn’t just capturing beautiful images—it’s being welcomed back. It’s seeing families grow, celebrating new chapters, and quietly documenting the moments that become treasured memories.

Meghan, thank you for trusting me once again and for allowing me to be a small part of your journey. It truly means more than you know.
