Arriving at a sighting with the Giraffe Pride, expecting to find them on a giraffe kill, only to be introduced to seven tiny little cubs was something truly special.

Hearing those little ones nursing and watching them nestled safely with their mothers was the most beautiful way to start the day.

Moments like these remind me just how incredibly lucky I am to witness the wild in its most intimate moments.
I’m truly blessed to call this my office.

There’s something truly magnificent about elephants. 🐘

Time spent with these incredible giants is time well spent. The more we watch them, the more we realise just how intelligent, emotional and deeply complex they are. There is so much happening beneath the surface of those gentle eyes and powerful minds—far more than we may ever fully understand.

To share even a few quiet moments with an elephant is a privilege I’ll never take for granted.

With many cubs currently in the pride they have been hunting large game often. Many mouths to feed.

Producing milk requires a substantial amount of energy and nutrients, so mothers benefit from consuming nutrient-dense parts of a carcass.

Hyenas are truly special. 🐾
After a controlled fire, I captured this incredible moment as this hyena investigated the ash, then exhaled creating a fine mist into the crisp morning air.

A fleeting moment, but one that perfectly captures the curiosity, intelligence and uniqueness of these often misunderstood animals.

This has to be the most beautiful boy of them all. Just strolling along the tar road and owning it.

He belongs to the giraffe pride which consists of roughly 30 members.

With a king like this protecting you, who needs to worry. What a magnificent specimen he is.

There are some sightings that never lose their magic, no matter how many times you're lucky enough to experience them.

Seeing Xakubasa, the beautiful white lion cub of the Timbavati, is one of those moments. With every sighting, his personality shines a little brighter, his confidence grows, and it's incredible to watch him transform before our eyes. He's growing up so fast, yet he still carries that unmistakable charm that captured so many hearts from the very beginning.

Here's to many more years of watching this remarkable young king write his story in the wild. 🦁🤍
