I seriously cannot get over these. I hate making collages for the most part, but how do you tell such a beautiful story of a baby sister in just 20 vertical images ??
But basically, when Kayla says “come,” I come runnin. Between the sudden recent passing of their beloved dog and the few hours notice for a fresh 48 session, this family decided to have the most heartfelt moments of life documented. And hereeeeee I ammmnmmm, witnessing it all.
I teared up editing both sessions. It’s easy to keep things together while you’re “working,” and then sometimes it’s not, but when you go back to sift through the images you want to deliver, there’s a great deal of emotion that pumps through the veins. Sometimes, I don’t even consider myself a photographer, but moreso a storyteller. That’s a wonderful thing, isn’t it?
Life is beautiful, all of it.
