“Soak it in, it goes by so quick.”
I used to say that too.
But after photographing more and more weddings, I started noticing what those words actually do to people in the middle of one of the most meaningful days of their lives.
It quietly turns the day into something fleeting.
Something they’re afraid of losing before it’s even over.
And suddenly, instead of fully living it; they’re trying to hold onto it, trying to remember every second, trying not to let it slip away.
But the most present couples I’ve ever photographed weren’t the ones gripping the moment the tightest. They were the ones who let themselves be there. Who trusted they didn’t need to carry the weight of preserving every feeling on their own.
That’s the experience I’ve built for my couples. Not one where you spend the day managing timelines, emotions, and memories…
but one where you actually get to live your wedding day while it’s happening.
Because yes, your wedding day will move fast.
But when you fully experience it, the feeling of it doesn’t just disappear.
