Senior year is A LOT. 😂🥹

One minute you’re screaming, “THIS IS MY YEAR!” and the next you’re wondering how you’re supposed to be ready to graduate when you still feel like you just figured out how to use your school locker.

You might be excited.
You might be nervous.
You might be completely overwhelmed.
You might already be counting down the days.
You might be pretending graduation isn’t actually happening.

And honestly? You can feel ALL of those things.
There is no “right” way to experience senior year.

So here’s your reminder, girl (or dude): you don’t have to have your entire future figured out before you walk across that stage.

Just be present. Say yes to the fun stuff. Take the pictures. Make the memories. Tell your friends you love them. Let yourself be excited about what’s next AND sad about what you’re leaving behind.

Girl to girl… I hope you have the BEST senior year. 🤍

I hope you say yes to the things that scare you a little.
I hope you take way too many pictures with your best friends.
I hope you dance at the games.
I hope you go to the football games, the dances, the random late-night drives, and all the little moments you’ll wish you could relive someday.

And please remember this:

You don’t have to make your senior year look perfect. You just have to make it yours.

You don’t need to be friends with everyone.
You don’t need to have the “perfect” senior experience.
You don’t need to look a certain way, act a certain way, or have your entire future figured out.

You’re allowed to change your mind.
You’re allowed to grow apart from people.
You’re allowed to try something new.
You’re allowed to be proud of yourself.

Soak it all in, girl. This is your year. 🥹🤍

And one day, when it’s all over, I hope you have a camera roll FULL of memories that make you smile.

Part 3 of our road trip with Lynsey Strader

My favorite time to take photos on the beach is right at sunset. Those last few minutes when the sun turns orange and lights up every ripple in the water. When you can get the sun coming through a dress. I don’t think there is anything better.
