🍂 Where the Pasture Meets the Palette of Autumn

Two of my favorite things about living in Bucks County? The abundance of beautiful working farmland and the ever-changing canvas that Mother Nature provides each autumn.

A drive through the countryside can quickly turn into an opportunity to stop, take it all in, and, of course, reach for the camera. A curious gathering of cattle in the pasture, rolling green fields, and a distant treeline showing off its autumn colors. It's a combination that never gets old.

This is what makes Bucks County such a wonderful playground for a photographer. Around nearly every bend, there's another scene waiting to be discovered, another story to capture, and another reminder of just how fortunate we are to have this countryside as our backyard.

Sometimes the best photographs aren't planned. They're simply found along the way. 🍁📸

From the golden morning light filtering through the trees and the quiet beauty of a fog-covered river, to the timeless charm of a Pennsylvania barn and the mystery of a bridge emerging through the autumn haze, every scene offers a different perspective on this spectacular season.

A Haunting Reflection of Trenton

Some bridges connect places. Others carry stories, history, and a little mystery.
On Halloween Eve, the iconic Trenton Makes, The World Takes bridge takes on a different personality. Its illuminated message cuts through the darkness while the Delaware River churns beneath it, creating an almost otherworldly scene.

A familiar landmark, a different perspective, and just enough darkness to make you look twice.

🌕 When the World Slows Down

Between the fading light of day and the quiet embrace of evening, the moon rises like a familiar dream.

The trees stand in silhouette. The sky blushes with the last warmth of daylight. And for one fleeting moment, an ordinary street becomes something extraordinary.

Sometimes, beauty doesn’t require us to travel far. It simply asks us to pause, look up, and notice.

It was a once in a lifetime amazing opportunity to be part of the company that spent the weekend together out in the snow two full days of recreating history with our reenactors in front of my lens documenting the two days of filming while the crew from wide awake films was in the process of creating the new visitor center introductory educational experience. Mother nature was on our side, giving us cold temperatures and snow that weekend back in January 2026 with untold cups of coffee, handwarmers and thermal layers. We all powered through the weekend. Fond memories, hard work, but all well worth it thrilled to have been a part of this experience!!!!

BWags Photography Washington Crossing Historic Park

A powerful new introductory film is coming to Washington Crossing 🎥

Created in partnership with award-winning Wide Awake Films, the production draws on current historical scholarship and cinematic storytelling to place audiences amid the dramatic events of December 1776. Once complete, it will be shown daily in the Visitor Center theater and provide visitors with essential context before they explore the grounds where history unfolded 🎬

Filmed during a snowy January weekend at the park, the production features reenactors, horses, encampment scenes, and locations throughout the Historic Village and Thompson-Neely Farmstead. The new film marks the first major update to the park’s introductory film since 2000 and will become a cornerstone of the visitor experience during America’s 250th anniversary and beyond 🇺🇸

The film is one of several transformative projects supported by the Friends’ $2.5 million 2026 capital campaign. Don’t miss the boat, help us advance historic preservation, educational programming, accessibility, and immersive visitor experiences. The Sunset Twister

Sometimes, all it takes is a quick escape to rediscover the joy of being behind the lens. Tonight’s sunset delivered a sky full of color and a curious twister-shaped cloud that seemed to dance above the neighborhood. I chased the moment, framing it beneath the basketball hoop and a streetlamp before the light faded. A spontaneous reminder of why I love photography.
