Back to school is here, Pals!

And because I know at least a few of you are currently thinking, “Shoot. I need a First Day of School sign...” I made them for you.

I created a FREE printable set of First Day of School signs for the 2026–2027 school year, from Pre-K all the way through Senior year.

And because I'm your Photo Bestie, I also included a few easy tips for photographing the first day beyond the traditional front-door picture. The backpack. The walk to the bus. The nervous smile. The after-school recap. All those little pieces you'll want to remember someday.

What if Thursday night wasn't about getting something done?

No laundry. No errands. No catching up on your inbox. No scrolling on the couch while telling yourself you should probably be doing something else.

Just two hours to sit down, make something with your hands, have a snack, sip something you brought along and CREATE for absolutely no reason other than it feels good.

That's Photo Embroidery.

This Thursday, we're stitching our final piece of the summer at Blank Space in Yardley, and there are just 6 seats left at the table.

No embroidery experience needed. No artistic talent required. I'll bring everything you need and teach you the stitches.

You just take the night off.

One of my favorite things about Photo Embroidery is that I can hand everyone in the room the exact same photograph and, two hours later, no two pieces look alike.

You decide what deserves a little more attention. Where to add texture. What colors to use. Which details to leave completely alone.

There really isn't a right way to do it.

And maybe that's what I've loved most about teaching these workshops. It's two hours where nobody needs to be productive or perfect. We put our phones down, learn a few stitches, make something with our hands and just CREATE.

Our next Photo Embroidery night is August 27 from 6–8 PM at Blank Space in Yardley, and I'd love to have you at the table.
