It’s been way too long since I’ve done an intro around here, & with so many new faces lately (so grateful for each of you 🥹), it felt like the perfect time.
Hey, I’m Brooke — a Wilmington & Wrightsville Beach portrait, wedding, sports, and event photographer!
A few things about me:
🏝️ I’m a beach bum through and through. If I’m not on the beach capturing your stories, I’m probably kayaking, shelling, swimming, walking or reading on the shore.
🤍 I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Sean, who I’ve been crazy about since we were 14! He also happens to be my second shooter and the “Sea” in Seabrook.
🩵 I’m originally from St. Louis but Wilmington has been home for the past four years & I truly can’t imagine being anywhere else.
⛳️ Golf has always been my sport. I’ve played since I was little and continued in college, so if you ever need an extra golfer in a tournament, I’m your girl!
✨ I’m an old soul at heart. Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, & Nat King Cole are regularly playing on my Victrola thanks to my sweet Grandma inspiring my love for timeless things.
💕 My family and friends mean absolutely everything to me; both the family I was born into and the one we’ve built along the way.
📸 Photography has always been part of my life, but I really began taking it seriously in college while photographing for the Kansas State University yearbook, newspaper, and local magazine. That’s when I realized this creative outlet had completely captured my heart.
📚 I have a degree in elementary education with a focus in special education, so working with kiddos comes naturally to me! If you bring your littles to a session, you can bet I’ll be playing games, being silly, and doing whatever it takes to get those genuine smiles.
