For the past several years, Ben has made his home in the Piedmont of North Carolina, with his wife, daughter, and two cats. Most of his photographs are shot throughout North Carolina, from the mountains to the coast, but are supplemented with images he has captured in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, Peru, and locations in the southeastern United States. Ben also has a collection of photographs

from small town and rural portions of Kansas, where he was born and spent his childhood.
