We did ALL the fun things during this sweet First Birthday Milestone session. Cake smash sessions are cool but sometimes, parents just want a simple,baby-only photoshoot and we did just that for Leo. Minimal frills, just letting his cuteness take center stage!

THIS! This is baby milestone photography in a nutshell. They laugh. They cry. We bribe them with food and all is right with the world again! And isnā€™t that what youā€™re trying to capture anyways - ALL of who your baby is at this stage!?
I was first invited into this familyā€˜s lives 5 years ago when Mom was expecting baby number two. Fast forward to now, and theyā€™ve grown to be a family of 6 and Iā€™ve enjoyed every single session with them.

Maybe itā€™s my background as a Pre-K teacher or the years I worked in Special Education, but I just LOVE the connection I can form with little ones - and one of my favorite ways to do that, is thru PLAY! I want every session with me to feel like a play date for them and it was definitely mission accomplished for Esmeā€™s first birthday Milestone Session.

Iā€™ve had the honor of photographing all 4 children in this sweet family and I canā€™t believe the baby of the bunch is already 1!

Every once in a while, itā€™s nice to break from the norm and create something a little bit different - and this overhead shot was the perfect, unconventional way to showcase Lukeā€™s beautiful blue eyes. Iā€™ve had the pleasure of capturing senior portraits for all 3 boys in this awesome family! Luke is the grand finale and Iā€™m a little sad for this to be our last go ā€˜round! Love working with the same awesome families time and time again!
