I get to head back to Acadia this year for an elopement and it had me thinking about some of my favorite memories there - especially the summers I spent documenting this wonderful family on their annual camping trip.

Foggy cliffs, wild blueberry picking, s'mores, and feral kids...truly some of the most real, joy-filled sessions I've photographed.

I just shared a new post on The Aerie Journal blending moments from both trips if you feel like taking a little wander through Acadia with me. ⚓️🦞🫐🏕️🌊🥾🌲

I shared something very close to my heart here yesterday.

And honestly, it took everything in me to press publish. I’ve been working on Nestled for almost 8 months, and truthfully, I’ve been dragging my feet on putting it out into the world. I felt under qualified, like, who am I to be the one to do this?

But God doesn’t call the equipped, does He? 😅

Nestled was born from a season of deep sorrow and from the healing that slowly followed (and still going).

It’s a small ministry rooted in care for mothers, especially in the tender postpartum season where so many feel unseen, under-supported, and quietly exhausted.

If you feel drawn, the full heart behind Nestled is now live on my website. 🤍

Thank you for holding space for my journey. I’m deeply grateful for the way this community shows up, and for the mothers who will be gently held through what comes next.

Hi—emerging from the trenches (and 3ft of snow).
January absolutely Januaryed. I got bangs, and we survived round two of what can only be described as the plague. The less said about toddler nose suction, the better. 🥴

Sharing this equine session from Wells Beach, Maine 🐎🌊

I’m making a real effort to blog more of my sessions because I want people to read the stories behind the images—not just double tap and scroll past them. This one is live on my website (linked below).

Instagram has felt like a place of disconnection lately, and I’m craving a return to slowing down, reading, and actually seeing one another again.

I have one July date and two August dates left.
Beach sessions welcome. Horses strongly encouraged.

K, love you, bye. 🫶🏻

I've started sharing more of my work and writing over on Pinterest. Here you'll find session/wedding inspiration, real stories, and posts from my blog: The Aerie Journal.

If you're someone who likes to save things for later, or wander through images slowly instead of doomscrolling, grab a blanket, a cup of something warm, and I'll meet you there. 🤍

Over the break, I started building out my blog:

The Aerie Journal

A place where stories live longer than Instagram or Facebook ever allows.

Deeper storytelling from sessions + weddings, told slowly and with intention.

I can't wait to keep adding to it + I hope you'll follow along!

The Aerie Journal is a collection of documentary photography stories capturing love, family, and legacy across Massachusetts and New England.

✨NEW YEAR. NO RESOLUTIONS.✨

None that include a gym membership, anyway.

First post of the year and somehow I found myself running around the streets of Boston — which, if you know me, is actually hilarious.

For YEARS I was so anti-city. Give me trees, fields, and quiet roads, thank you very much. But somehow here I was… walking, exploring, soaking in the history, the architecture, the energy. And honestly? I LOVED it.

Maybe because I hadn’t really explored Boston in over a decade. Maybe because it felt nostalgic and elevated and alive. Or maybe because I didn’t have to drive a single inch (do not ask me to drive in Boston — I will absolutely say no 😂).

This session was so effortlessly upscale, so classy, so Catherine & Rob. The kind of love that belongs in a city like this. And then — because it was freezing and so fitting— we wrapped it all up at an Irish pub with good food and hot toddies to warm us back to life. 🍀☕️

So yes.
More of this in 2026.
More bold moves.
More saying yes to things I “never thought I’d do.”
More love stories that feel like a whole experience.

Boston… I think I love you. 🤍

This year was… really hard.

It started so slow. Like, scary slow.
And there were a few moments where I honestly thought, maybe this is it… maybe I’m done.

After eleven years, that’s a weird thing to sit with.

But there was this quiet little feeling — not loud, not confident — just this, “don’t give up yet” feeling.

So instead of closing everything down, I kind of tore it all apart.
I rebranded. I reworked my business. I questioned everything.

And somewhere in the middle of all that… things finally clicked.

My work feels like me again.
The way I work feels right.
It doesn’t feel forced anymore.

It actually feels like coming home.

I’m so grateful for the people who trusted me this year.
Who let me show up, camera in hand, and document their real lives — not just the pretty parts.

Because this isn’t just about photos.
It’s about holding onto things.
About remembering.
About honoring the fact that we only get one life.

Not just weddings and babies…
but getting through dark seasons.
Starting over.
Choosing to keep going.

The small moments matter. They always have.

I’m just really thankful I got to be part of so many of your stories this year.

Thank you for having me.
Truly.

I’m really excited to see what 2026 brings. 🫶🏻✨

As my son drifts to sleep in my arms, I’m answering emails by the glow of my phone. I edit during naptime, after dinner, and long after the house has surrendered to sleep. Some days it feels like I’m always working — if not with my hands, then with my heart. But this calling runs through me as naturally as breathing.

Motherhood hasn’t dulled that part of me; it’s deepened it. And alongside it all is my husband — the steady ship when the days run long, the quiet anchor who believes in this dream just as fiercely as I do. His patience, his partnership, his grounding presence… it’s what allows me to pour so fully into both my family and my art.

Every year, when the air thins and the trees grow still, something in me follows. I’ve always been a change-with-the-seasons person, someone who listens when life softens. And this year, that invitation feels especially clear.

So for the month of December, I’m choosing a gentle pause. Not from my work entirely — I’ll still be editing behind the scenes, still answering emails (especially with early-year weddings coming up) — but I’ll be stepping away from social media. We weren’t meant to bloom all year, or to be this accessible and producing endlessly. Nature rests, and we deserve to as well.

December, for me, will be a soft place to land, soaking up every ounce of this season and watching far too many Hallmark movies (sorry hubs).

As I finish the last stories of 2025 and look toward 2026, I’m remembering how much of this year was built in the quiet — the unseen hours, the late-night edits, the small acts of devotion no one witnesses. Maybe it’s not balance I’m chasing, but harmony — the way being a mother, a wife, and an artist all braid together.

And above all — gratitude.
For every story told, every family met, every fleeting second I was trusted to hold still. Because every late night, every quiet edit, every story I tell — it all comes back to this.
To love.
To legacy.
To them.

Wishing you all a blessed and cozy season. I hope you give yourselves a chance to slow down too! 🤍🎄✨
