A little life update 🤍
After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to step away from photography.
This isn’t easy to say because photography has always been an interest of mine and quickly grew into a passion once my daughter was born. I’ve met some truly wonderful people, witnessed beautiful moments, and had a part in creating memories I’ll always be grateful to have been trusted with.
I’m being pulled in new directions and finding new passions in this season of life. As difficult as it is to close this chapter, I know it’s the right decision for me at this time.
To everyone who trusted me with your memories, thank you for choosing me, supporting my business, recommending me, and welcoming me into such important moments of your lives. I’ll always cherish that trust.
Katie Russell Photography has been a beautiful chapter, and I’m proud of what I built and the memories I created along the way. Who knows… I might find my way back to my camera at some point. But for right now I want to see what else is out there for me.
Here’s to closing one chapter and making room for what comes next!
